I adored this book. It is extremely easy to read, understand and learn from. Better than the competition and most head and shoulders above the competition as a first book on ECG.Nonetheless I fully agree with the authors' evaluation that, in essence, despite this being "the only one you'll ever need", it ought not to be the only one you ever want. Further books are of great service in mastering the ECG, though I heartily believe that this is the best possible starting point.

Just the basics

This book offers just the very basic explanation of ECG. It suits well medical students as an introductory book; the language is easy to understand, explanations are clear. However, it is too simple for clinicians involved in internal medicine. It does not even cover all of the topics discussed in an ECG course taught at my faculty. The name of the book is very ambitious, but if you have already mastered the ABC of ECG, look for another book.
