‘America: Imagine a World without Her’ written by Dinesh D'Souza is another book that will definitely divide America; on the one hand ardent advocates even if they didn’t read more than chapter, on the other those who would like such books to be banned in order not to poison people though they only saw the book cover. Is there any middle, whether is there someone who is truly interested to read and think about what is written inside or on such topic is not possible to be neutral?Dinesh D'Souza, who is by the way Indian immigrant, made an extensive book both in terms of its volume and covered width of topics which can still be brought under one common denominator – U.S. as nation is not what it should be and it does not play the role in the world that because of its importance and greatness should. The author in an easy to understand and, must be acknowledged, compelling and thoughtful way show why and how he came to such conclusions, but more important he advises what needs to be done to change such unacceptable situation in the long run. He calls for a return to true values and tradition, resisting liberal tendencies that push America even further away from what he considers the right path.Is he right, whether the reasons for the problems in America are exactly what he stated or is it just one part of the mosaic that does not take into account the whole picture? My opinion is exactly that. U.S. is the only global power, by far the most influential and most powerful country in the world that conducts policy, determines the direction, establishing trends, starts and stops wars, in a single word - it is great.Whether it could be even greater? Probably. But for something like that, in my opinion, is not enough turning to traditional values, or contrary to fully liberalize country, but find a third way, one that will unite Americans as throughout the history some leaders succeeded. When America was great. Therefore, read this book, but give a chance to those who think differently. That will help you to make the best out of both thinking because the world is so much more than black and white. Such kind of people is needed for America to again become strong.

A wonderful, easy to read, love letter to America from a prodigiously talented writer who understands the reason so many have crossed the world to make America their home. I'm not American but have always considered the US as the power behind freedom and democracy. Sure, there have been very dark times but that applies to every society. What makes America is not her past mistakes but her constant striving to perfect liberty and equality. The world needs America as the No 1 power, we need a democracy based on free expression, equality under the law as the steering consul of the west. Obama is in the process of destroying and reversing the forward motion the US has had since her inception and we should ALL be concerned by that because it has untold consequences for us all. Read this book and understand why we should fear the systematic destruction of our greatest ally. Pay attention and support the people who see and attempt to blow the whistle on the only US president in history to actively hate the country he represents. We live in very scarey times.

Fantastic narrative that will make America hating lefties cry !!! The book takes the reader through the history of the founding of America and how the principles of freedom , the belief in opportunity based on hard work and merit , not social class and who mom and Dad were is examined as was the positive ideals which were amplified through the world coming from America , which essentially came out of the European enlightenment . The book covers the America as it is hating left quoting them in their words and policies as they are gradually chipping away at freedoms , opportunities in attempt to re make America free of competition , striving for greatness and instead of a socialist , welfare society , coming in second or third as that is to the left nice and fair .This book is a great awaking and useful to the author who is at this time under indictment for campaign contribution that the left mostly turns a blind eye to , unless you are on the libertarian right .
