Wonderful reading

I read book 3 first by mistake so when I started book 1 revered it as looking back on time. It was gripping so no regrets as I will now carry on with book 2 and look forward to the plot unfolding as I career my way to book 3 again. Wonderful.

A tale set just before the second World War

I have enjoyed Jeffrey Archers books but not read one for many years. I enjoyed this book although it did not feel like any of his previous books. An easy read. I enjoyed the characters. A little bit unbelievable. Would so many people do so much for one clever young boy. Would Harry be so easily accepted in families with money. It kept my interest right up to the end.

Changing times

I am rereading this book as I enjoyed it some years ago. It is the first part of a saga and I feel sure other readers would find this story interesting. A young bright young boy is one of the main characters and I think you will turn the pages swiftly to read how his life and that of the people he meets progresses. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
