Highly recommended to all guitarists looking for some new (and different) stimulation.

I just received this book today. A quick skim through it was enough to let me know that there is a lot of valuable material in here.I was playing through some of the patterns selected at random, I especially like the pentatonic scale section, however I wish more examples were included as I have heard some of the other pentatonic scales from the original book and they're pretty interesting.I believe this book will open up my guitar playing, improve my composing, and really develop my ear.Once I've tackled this one I may as well get the original text and discover even more brilliant patterns.(Some of these patterns/exercises/melodies are great finger-busters and cover the whole range of the guitar in some cases!)

I like the way it's made intelligible for guitarists, both with musical notation and tablature. Stuff in there probably last you a lifetime!
