An Interesting Stroll

I quite enjoyed reading this book as I found Winchester's journey on foot through South Korea interesting. In particular the contrast between the modern urban environment and the more traditional rural environment. I also thought that Winchester did a reasonable job detailing South Korea's history in partcicular it's rise as an economic power. Although I would agree with earlier reviewers who suggested that at times facts, details etc. were presented in a haphazard manner which I felt made the book and journey in fact a bit disjointed.Winchester also seems to have a bit of a bad boy side when it comes to women, in particular it would seem Asian women, I personally found it more amusing than offensive, However I can see that some readers may find his attitude sexist and well almost colonial in outlook.Overall not a and book.
